This policy describes, in clear and accessible terms, the principles we apply and the rights you have. It complies with applicable Guinean law as well as recognized international data-protection standards, in particular those of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as several of our funding partners are established in the European area.

Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected via this site is MBM CAPITAL SARLU, whose registered office is located in Kipé, Ratoma district, Conakry, Republic of Guinea. The company is registered with the RCCM of the Conakry Commercial Court under number GN.TCC.2020.B.00552.
Within MBM Capital, data-protection matters are handled directly by Mr Mohamed Mouctar BAH, Manager and Chief Executive Officer. Any correspondence concerning this policy may be addressed to him at contact@mbmcapital.net.
Article 2
Data collected
Through its website, MBM Capital collects only the data strictly necessary to make contact and to process the requests you send. Specifically, when a visitor contacts the house via the contact form or by email, the following data is collected:
- the first and last name of the person making contact;
- their email address;
- where applicable, the organization they belong to and their role;
- the content of the message they send to MBM Capital.
No data is collected without your knowledge. No form on the site requests sensitive data within the meaning of applicable regulations.
Article 3
Purposes of processing
The data collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- responding to requests sent to MBM Capital;
- managing the relationships between the house and those it works with;
- keeping, where relevant, the record of exchanges useful to the quality of institutional dialogue.
The data collected via the site is in no case used for commercial prospecting, nor sold, nor rented to third parties.
Article 4
Legal basis for processing
The processing of personal data is based, depending on the case, on MBM Capital'slegitimate interest in engaging with the people who contact it, on the consent of the data subject — given in an informed manner by the very act of voluntarily providing their data — or on theperformance of pre-contractual measures where the request relates to a possible future contractual relationship.
Article 5
Retention period
The data collected is retained for the period strictly necessary for the intended purpose. Specifically:
- simple requests with no follow-up are deleted within a maximum of twelve months ;
- exchanges that are part of an institutional or contractual relationship are retained for the duration of that relationship, then for the period of the applicable legal limitation periods.
Beyond these periods, the data is deleted or securely archived in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

Recipients of the data
The data collected is processed exclusively by authorized MBM Capital staff, strictly within the scope of their duties. No data is passed on to third parties, except where transmission is required by law or necessary to perform a contractual obligation owed to the data subject.
Article 7
Hosting and data location
The mbmcapital.net site is hosted by the French company OVH SAS, whose data centers are located in France and therefore within the European Economic Area. As such, the technical data processed by the host benefits from the guarantees offered by European regulations. Correspondence received at contact@mbmcapital.net is read and processed from Conakry, on MBM Capital's internal tools.

Your rights
Anyone whose personal data is processed by MBM Capital has the following rights, which they may exercise at any time:
- right of access : to obtain a copy of the data concerning them;
- right of rectification : to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- right to erasure : to request the deletion of the data, within the limits permitted by law;
- right to object : to object, on legitimate grounds, to ongoing processing;
- right to restriction : to request that processing be suspended in certain cases;
- right to portability : to receive the data provided in a structured, commonly used format.
These rights may be exercised by a simple email sent to contact@mbmcapital.net, together with any reasonable evidence enabling MBM Capital to verify the requester's identity. MBM Capital undertakes to respond as soon as possible, and at the latest within one month of receiving the request.

Cookies and trackers
The mbmcapital.net site uses no audience-measurement, advertising-profiling or social-network cookies. No third-party tracker is placed on the visitor's device. Only strictly necessary technical cookies for the site's operation may be used, where applicable, which do not require prior consent.

Data security
MBM Capital implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the personal data it processes. In the event of a breach likely to create a risk for the data subjects, MBM Capital complies with its obligations to inform and notify the individuals concerned and the competent authorities.
